Re: Amy (Spoiler, to an already spoiled movie)

Was it my imagination or did she buy into torturing Carter at the end a little to easily. She ended up being as morbid as everyone else in the movie.

I thought the same thing myself. However, they didn't exactly torture so much as kill him. I can't imagine wanting to be like that but I guess the guy did try to kill the man she loved and was responsible for downright brutal deaths of two of the friends so I suppose I can justify that someone might be okay with killing a person like that. Plus, skinning a girl alive for 6 hours? Eeek

I agree with getting into it a little too easy, and that really threw the ending for me as a viewer (I had a feeling Scott would come back, but this felt kind of forced). If they were going to go with this "Amy's into it" thing, I think the audience would of fared better if she rolled up her sleeve (Or backside of her shirt.. neck.. wherever) to find an Elite Hunting tattoo. Even a glimpse of an edge would of made that scene a little less forced.

It did feel forced but I didnt have a problem with it much since the movie turned out pretty good!

I don't think it was unrealistic at all. Remember the last time someone discussed a news story about someone who did something horrible? A rapist, torturerer, Anders Breivik, etc? You really get to know how sadistic people can be when they want revenge. (People are especially open about this if they can be anonymous on the internet). Now imagine that it was your fiancee and his/her friends who had been tortured and killed, by someone you trusted.

It was very forced, and very predictable, just like the rest of this stupid movie. I even fast-forwarded through the end of it because I already knew what was going to happen. As soon as she offered him a drink, I already knew that she was going to drug him, and that her fiance was going to still be alive. Unsurprisingly, I was right.

I hate movies that are so predictable that I don't even have to watch it to know what's going to happen. This movie had no imagination or creativity whatsoever.
