Lacks the creepiness and imagination of first 2 films....

Ok, ok, I wasn't exactly expecting a brilliant work of art from a 'straight to video' Hostel, but this still pales in comparison to the first two.

I like the new Vegas locale, but the opportunity to have a lot of fun with the unique setting was completely wasted. Other than a few shots of the strip and the EHC patron gambling, there is really no direct reference to Vegas and most of the film is set in the run-down factory anyway. Why not utilize Vegas and the many opportunities for cultural bashing and perhaps a statement or two???

Just a completely missed opportunity.

The acting? God awful. I know...I know....I wasn't expecting Oscar-caliber in a "Hostel" film, but wow....just really bad.

The first "Hostel" film works because the first 45 minutes of the first film were really creepy (especially the scenes on the train) and set-up what was to come. No scenes in this one can come close to matching that kind of tension or build-up.

If there is a "Hostel 4", I can't imagine how bad it will be.

Hehe, yeah....Skyler Stone was GAWD AWFUL in that role. Not even his 'screaming' was believable! It almost looked like he was about to break out laughing instead.

Poor Thomas Kretschmann....how far he has fallen, in such a short period of time. He must have been pretty desperate to do this role. Either that, or he's best friends with the director.

Missed potential all around, absolutely. I mean, if you're going to go to the trouble of setting the film in Vegas, UTILIZE VEGAS! I bet the surrounding hotels wouldn't let them film there...lol.
