So should they lose the girlfriend?

*spoilers I guess*

His original girlfriend is a very nice piece of eye candy but I'm bored of him trying to get her back. He smokes weed and drinks wine, she couldn't care less about him even if he stops so why should he keep trying to get her back? The show is funner with him single and that character just slows down the flow. I can see it maybe being a long term goal but honestly in real life that would never happen. I loved his hippie stoner gf but I guess each season has to start fresh. Love the show, love the thrill of it all, love the intelligent writing, and the whole Rushmore feel. Right up there with Curb your enthusiasm.
