Just watched all of S3 the past 3 days, IT SUCKED!

I LOVED season 1, so fresh, characters were charismatic and Danson's character was so likeable. The plots were funny, interesting and engaging. Danson's character in S3 was that of a idiot goof lacking the charisma he previously had. The wring was no where near as tight and seemed and struggle to come up with interesting plots. Even if this show was not canceled I would not have come back for S4 if there was one. Its a shame to see such a promising show go down so fast.

Totally. I mean, its only 8 20 minute episodes so whatever. But the show got way too whacky. The strength of the first two was in the subtle plausibilty of classic noir tropes. S3 was a whole nother level of campiness. It became a cartoon.

Well-said, both of you. I just watched Seasons 1-2 and was beyond delighted! I couldn't believe I had a whole other season to watch, and snuck a peek before going to bed at Episode 1 Season 3.

I was incredulous at how appalling Episode 1 was. So watched 1/2 of Episode 2 just to see whether Episode 1 was some sort of grave anomaly. Couldn't get through more than 10 minutes. Won't be watching any more of Season 3.

It seems as if everyone involved with the show was over it by Season 3. What an embarrassment.
