Rascist and incredibly insulting to 225 millions people in the world

reply

Racism is good for everybody.

reply

That was more than 5 words.

Are you watching closely...?

reply

RACIST ?

reply

Exactly .racist

reply

Gotta enjoy these comments about everything being racist. The only people that find racism everywhere are the racists.

reply

No ,I'm not racist ,where I live we respect ever cultures and nations ,this film is surely an insult to a large ethnic group ,potrtaying Persians as african-blacks and monstrous savages versus civilized and handsome Greeks makes this film racist

reply

Maybe I missed it, but the only black guy was the one helping teach the girl the sword fighting.

reply

it's so obvious ,how could u miss it ,u barely can find a human-like Persian

reply

I guess that I missed it because I'm not a racist and don't look for that sort of thing.

reply

I`d like you and all the others shouting racist to take a good, long hard look at this map of the Persian Empire around 500 BC.

Now, what you see on the bottom left is the Libyan part of Africa. Hence Africans in Xerxes army.

Another lesson to you:

The Persian Empire was extremely lenient towards their subject peoples - they were allowed to use their own talents. Examples of this would be Parthian horsearchers (precursors to the Huns for instance). Different people being adept at say archery would be utilized as archers and so forth.

The huge army of Persia at the time (although the number is vastly exaggerated as a force of 5 million (lol) would create a column of forces from Babylon to Athens more or less) was very diverse and had a stunning number of different ethnicities.

Shouting racist at a movie in general is usually ignorant and no less in this case.

reply

Are you Persian?

reply

[deleted]

No ,I'm a Kurd

reply

You are the only racist here if you are complaining from

potrtaying Persians as african-blacks
.
What if I told you that African Blacks (at least some of them) are offended by this movie by being linked or connected to the Persian race !!!
What will say then ??!!!

reply

stupid bastard, it is a well known fact that the first time greeks ever saw blacks it was among the armies of persia as they invaded. They had many black soldiers.

reply

"where I live we respect ever cultures and nations" phahah yeah and only one religion. Gotta love close-minded, self-absorbed people who see racism where there is none. One black guy, one guy with piercings(who was normal before the dark plot), immortals wearing masks and few mutilated workers on the explosion barge. Yeah true racism, never seen such things anywhere.

reply

Pretty awesome and bloody entertaining. And I'd like to add... Pretty *beep* awesome sex scene.

James Bond:Forgive my curiosity, but what is that?
Magda:That's my little octopussy.

reply

I thought the sex scene was almost as bad as the one in Showgirls.

also, Eva Green looks like a potato

reply

Uhhhh, no.

reply

Homoerotic racist fantasy action movie.

reply

lol

reply

Fight better than fck

reply

They have to see the earlier sex scene to know why that is the line of the movie !
