The characters from Athens were all forgettable. I can remember 4 people from their side and really besides the main character and the boy, the other 2 (the dad and main characters brother) just really were there. This is one reason why this movie was way worse then the first one.

shareTo start with the title of the movie is a con...they bring the paying public into the movie house by adding the " 300 ". Then at the very end you have the queen of the spartans in a long dress and sandles, ( while her men wearing all the battle gear including shields ), and she is fighting with no protection and no blood on her garment. The film is just an extension of the 50s and 60s sand and sword sagas. It should have been called:- The 300th film featuring men with leather underpants fighting other people with better armour. I will give the movie 1 and 1/2 out of 4. 1 is for the boobs of Eva Green and the 1/2 for the title ending.

its shot in the same style and follows on from the original 300 story... and there are sooo many references to the 1st so I'm calling the title not a con!
I actually found more memorable characters here than in the first one. I remember more warriors from this one than from the first one.
From the first one I only remember like 4 or 5.
Why are they so muscular during battles, but seconds after the battles end they're skinny?
