Walter Hill's gonna sue somebody's ass!

And that's all I have to say about that.

Hill will have to get in line behind the people of Guam, who are currently suing over Pyun's scam film Max Havoc: Curse of the Dragon

Pyun was not sued, nor was he deposed by either side of the civil suit. He did not finish the film because the loan didn't go through until after he left the project. The film was finished by another director.
Pyun did not get paid along the others who did not get paid. I was there.
Sad but true.... the film turned out to be a mess.

It would not surprise me. I am sure that they will use the defense that they have never actually called it a sequel (of course that has not stopped people on this site from posting that it is) but taking the character names and traits should be enough to get their butts taken to the cleaners.

If you want to watch this movie I would order the DVD as quick as its released because it will disappear pretty quickly when Pyun loses the case.

Does anyone know when the DVD will be released?

I didn't get a chance to see Road To Hell, but I saw an opening clip where the daughter of Ellen and Tom is singing on the air at a radio station. Do you know if this is the version that probably will be released on DVD?

I heard that this clip wasn't included in the version that people saw in some Nevada (or somewhere similar) theaters. So I'm wondering if 2 different versions of Road To hell exist?

I actually pre-ordered it directly from Pyun's website almost two years ago back when it was supposed to be released but still have not gotten any sort of word on when it's coming. I guess it's still playing festivals and having roadshow performances (next month it's in Chicago) so maybe he is still hoping that someone will pick it up rather than just distributing it himself.

Thank you for this info! By any chance, do you know if there are 2 different versions of this film? There were videos of the on screen daughter of Tom and Ellen performing songs that Ellen sang in Streets of Fire. Some people are saying that these scenes don't appear in the version they saw at festivals.

Also, I heard that the character of Ellen Aim never appears in Road To Hell. Does the film ever mention what happened to her?

I'm honestly not sure. I have not gotten to see the film yet. The only song performance I've seen is 'Tonight is what it means to be young' which is on youtube. It seems to have been recorded by someone standing at the back of the room and judging by the audience it may have been a rehersal which could explain why it would look differently in the actual film.
