Where did you hear they all broke up?

I just watched the last eppy on cable and it said that Alicea and Corey and Kelly and Austin were still together and Morgan and Daton are together again. The only couple they said broke up was Kelsey and Sean and Jordan and Sasha.

Apparently WE network aired different follow ups than NBC.
Anyone know why?

then they all reminds friends it was at the end.

Exactly. The episode I watched said Morgan and Dayton were "determined to make it work" and Austin and Kelly were together, as well as Alecia and Corey. I watched in on WE, I didn't even know it was airing on NBC.

That is a different ending than I saw!

It aired originally aired on NBC last night. But I was wondering this too because I saw the last episode as well on WE & 3 of the 5 couples were still together.

reply

Thank goodness somebody else saw that...I thought there was something wrong with my eyesight or memory. On NBC, they made it seem like they ALL broke up, including Morgan and Daton getting back together, and breaking up again...
On WE, everybody was still dating and together, except for Jordan / Sasha and one other couple. I specifically remember reading that Alicea and Cory were still together...

reply

When I watched it, it said that ALL of them have broken up but a few of them remain friends. Some stayed together and later broke up and Daton and Morgan got back together but then broke up again. That is what I read.

Here's a vid I found on youtube with the original NBC ending...this ending was different from the ending the WE network showed. But seeing as NBC is the original network, I'll believe this ending as opposed to WE's ending since all they do is re-run the episode a day later.

reply

could the WE ending be the original way it ended up since the show aired a year after it was suppose to?? & nbc just updated it but we didnt? because NBCs ending said Austin is a sophomore & WE said he's a freshman...

reply

I suppose that's a possibility. I didn't even notice about Austin and the whole Freshman / Sophomore thing. Maybe if they repeat I'll watch it again.
I was kind of disheartened to see that some of them didn't work out. Then again, I consider it a rarity to find someone at that age, and them be your 'soul mate'.
I'm just glad I got to see all the episodes before our TV gave out LOL LOL

reply

Maybe they'll discuss it at the "Town hall" meeting thing on wednesday? Cause I haven't seen the WE episode, but when I saw the NBC finale I freaked out. I couldn't/can't believe they /all/ broke up. Austin and whatsherface, yeah. Daton and Morgan, yeah. But Sasha and Jordan? No. Cory and Alicea? Maybe, but they seemed really good together.

Wait im totally confused. when was this show taped?? if they were all 18 how are some juniors at college?

And which one is the real ending? when was the town hall meeting thing taped?

reply

they weren't all 18.

being normal is not necessarily a virtue... It rather denotes a lack of courage!

reply

Ok that doesnt really answer my question.

The show was taped a year ago. NBC planned to premiere it in February 2008 but pushed it back until this summer.

Not all were 18, some were a year or 2 older.

I tend to think the NBC is the more recent one but I'll just wait til the Town Hall to see. NBC announced the Town Hall meeting on Jul 9th and asked for viewers' questions on their message boards the same day, thus whenever it was taped it is probably quite recent.

They're all broken up.
They said it at the lesson's learned episode.

NBC is the original shows broadcaster or broadcast station

University of Texas is my future school :) <-- I'm gonna make it happen!
