While I think that this game is great

I just thought that Ninja Gaiden for xbox had terrific almost next gen graphics and the cut scenes were filled with action and looked totally amazing
I felt that in Ninja Gaiden 2 the graphics were not as jawdropping , I just thought they were gonna be better and the cut scenes just didnt look as well done as they did in the first game

After reading this I was compelled to go check them both out again to compare.
Sorry man no match, part 2 slaughters part 1 graphically in every single respect. Look at the detail on Ryus headplate for instance just as a starting point, then look at the fluidity of mmovemnet, easily ten times more detailed in part 2.
Ninja Gaiden 1 was superior in CGI because it used some random ( don't have the name ) codec to render CGI in while Ninja Gaiden 2 used the in-game engine to do the FMV rendering. That makes NG2 superior in a technical sense and 1 superior in an overall graphical sense. As for in game visuals, Ninja Gaiden 1 was extremely impressive considering it ran on GARBAGE 32-bit processors that weren't very well built in the first place and considering 360 is a 64-bit Multicore and 64-bit GPU core machine the SMALL increases in visuals are seriously underwhelming and thats a fact. The Jump from part 1 to 2 is incredibly tiny and one of the biggest increase to the games visuals (720P) is not even real 1280x720Progressive. The other big increase to the game ( number of opponents on screen ) tends to turn the fast paced action game into a slow paced slide show.
It probably looks like I dislike this game in some way but I don't I love it to death and am replaying both part 1 and 2 as we speak.
