The History Channel version in USA is missing a pretty nice little prologue and 30 seconds of face time spoken by Buzz Aldren in the beginning. It's replaced with some documentary style introduction by the guy who does all the American History Channel introductions. As far as the other missing twenty-two munutes of the UK version. The only missing scenes that stand out in my mind are Buzz Aldren(I think)filming his pet monkey with a new home movie camera, and some extra chit-chat amongst the wives in a backyard scene(the edit in the UK versin was rediculously obvious). The rest was probably various scenery chewing throughout the rest of the movie. The 69 minute version was just right, at 91 minutes it got a little tedious. I was fighting to stay awake. Maybe I should have watched the longer one first. While I watched the two versions a week apart I can't recall exactly what was cut out, but I don't feel I missed anything watching the shorter version.
