The Game Reveals Something of Who You Really Are...

I enjoyed this movie, but this thread--that the game reveals something about your inner personality--was the most unsettling. I know there are MANY personality traits that I demonstrate as I play that I am not proud of! That pretty much defines my love/hate relationship with the game itself!

Also, interesting that "house rules" are invented to take some of the ruthlessness out of the game...so true! This game is very much about the human condition, our desire to dominate others while feeling conflicted about the inequity of that domination(the latter perhaps being only felt by some). Great movie.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts about the game and the film! It's definitely something that I noticed amongst the players -- that they have one persona for everyday life and another one for when they're playing the game.

Heh you should have played at my house when I was a kid it was like going to a Andrew Dice Clay standup. Although my family is very colorful verbally so it was never anything personal. I wont lie I am as well however it's extremely easy to filter myself online lol.

Monopoly is my favorite childhood game for sure I still enjoy it on pogo every once in a while. The idea of setting up the trap that could actually backfire if some luck is not on your side makes it so random. One roll could end it all or it could win it all as well.
