I still want the Extended Cut

I just watched the commentary of Kick-Ass and it still pains me to see Matthew Vaughn talking about releasing an extended cut. But we all know it never happened. Then I hoped that when the sequel was coming out, they would do it then. Nope, still nothing.

It's a shame because this movie is one my all time favorites to watch and I would like to experience everything they came up with filming.

I know some deleted scenes include:
- Damon and Mindy at a playground
- Dave's dad giving him the taser
- Dave reading comics at his mom's grave (with Mark Millar cameo)
- Frank's butler having a bigger role
- Hit-Girl and Big Daddy on a roof planning an attack (probably Rasul's)
- A lot of moments of Red Mist and Kick-Ass together (including a groupie sex scene)
- Frank scene right after Mindy throws the knife at his comic head (nice transition shot)
- Hit-Girl and Kick-Ass enter the Mist Mobile after she saves him.

There's probably even more than that, but yeah I'm still hoping that some day they will be released even though it's doubtful at this point.

I'd just like to see the full -on ten-minute corridor shoot out scene, despite it being just completely implausible. It's always bugged me that Mindy empties her pistol, reloads, fires one shot and it's empty again. Should've been edited better.

I remember the days when Kardashians were just the bad guys on Star Trek!

Yeah I know what you mean, that would be awesome to see. I'm not really sure if they filmed it though. I know they planned and rehearsed it to be longer, but I think when it came to filming they realized their limitations.

Still would've been cool though.

Why do you say she fires one shot - she fires dozens before the gun goes empty again.
In my opinion this scene is a masterpiece.

About a minute and a half in, she fires maybe twice after reloading, then both guns are empty at the same time. Which is odd, since one pistol has I'd say around 12/15 round capacity and the other I'd guess about 7/8.

Nothing wrong with the scene, exactly; I'd just like to have seen the fifteen minute version just for laughs.

It was actually a part of a little bit at the end that ended up getting scrapped. Cos y'know how Vic is never heard from again and presumably gets away with all he's done - well, originally, we were meant to see Frank pic up a framed photo - during the scene where he's talking on the phone to him - and basically threaten him that if he doesnt get KickAss, Frank would release this photo, and we dont see it until the end of the movie where Marcus arrives with loads of cops - Vic and Joe are meant to still be there - and Marcus picks up the photo and basically tells him he's going to jail

It also explained why Mindy doesn't go and kill Chris after - she was priginally meant to go after him with a knife, but Marcus with other cops arrive before she can do anything, so he and Dave have to go right then

This wouldn't make sense unless Kick-Ass was banging Katie...and even then I don't think he'd share her.
