Do you have to finish the training mission to get the EMP charges?

I ask because I'm at that very first computer and was there for over an hour and gave up. The hacking thing moves too fast for me to react.

So can I get EMP at the very beginning of the game or am I forced to wait?

I feel you on thst hacking part. Look for the parts that are not moving

I did but they move too fast for me.

Now if there was a save game just after this bit I'd be all over this game. But as yet I have not found one, nor a way to hack the timer so it doesn't count down..
