Yes, as far as I know, this is currently in production. Both Drake and Josh have talked about a holiday special in interviews, and various sources have published articles about this 2 hour original television movie (to air on Nick). I think the Drake & Josh in New York project was scrapped a while ago but IMDb left the page up (and still refuses to take it down for some reason).
The title of the movie may not be confirmed, because I think the working title is Drake & Josh: Best Christmas Ever, but that could easily change (and IMDb just changed it to something different, but I don't know where they got "Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh" from).

ya the movie is going to b called 'merry christmas drake and josh'.
i know this because producers were letting the businesses around where i work know that they will be filming this movie and the title of it was written on the notice
yeah, i went to my local mall the other day, and it was all decked out for Christmas (in august - kind of scared me ;) - one of the coffee shop baristas told me that they're filming a drake and josh xmas movie.
i saw them filming - looked very uncomfortable for them to be wearing santa suits in 105 degree weather. ;)

shareI love Christmas movies, and I'm loving cute funny guys in them too! I saw Drake & Josh at the MTV awards, and the voiceover guy announced that they were doing this movie. You can't deny voice-over guy!
