shareYah I didnt like it either. Thats a shame, because I loved the show. This script and direction of this thing is just pitifully poor.
-Josh gets arrested by the police for absolutely no reason whatsoever. He calls the cops, the cops come and arrest him with no explaination. Then he falls several stories off of a roof and survives with no injuries into the back of a truck. Hundreds of cops chase the truck (which the drivers are totally oblivious to the sirens) and Josh gets tossed out of the truck like a ragdoll. However, the cops totally ignore the truck as it gets away. Why wouldnt the cops pursue the truck, who count as accomplices? This whole scene subtracts multiple stars from the rating.

Yeah this could have been a lot better. Leave it to Scheider & his crew to half ass their products like they always do. Most of the screenplay & writing was horrible, & this was more depressing than it was hopeful. I understand that Christmas films are supposed to have some level of depressing themes to make the impending happy ending feel more happy but it just didn't work for this movie.
All of the constant pointless bad things that happen to the duo just leaves one thinking, "seriously!?" Also the cast tries so hard to be funny yet ends up failing. A little less random over the top chaos & a little more actual comedy please.
