I thought it was a darling, wonderful, fun show. The Wyoming setting was beautiful.
I'm sure anybody that thought it was boring probably doesn't like the "good, clean, fun" that the golden years shows had. It reminded me of good clean shows such as Murder She Wrote, Diagnosis Murder, Matlock, Murder 101, and McBride. All these are the good clean fun of the golden years of movies with fabulous celebs such as Cary Grant, William Powell, and Myrna Loy.
There is never any worry that any of these would have to be sensored or have offensive language or situations.

I forgot to add that I love Jamey Sheridan and he and Jane Seymour are adorable together.
Ryan Cartwright is a cute kid and played his part very nicely.
I can't say enough about this show!

I agree. It was a really nice, funny, family movie. I think both Jamey and Jane are great actors and they make a great on-screen couple. I can't wait till the sequel comes out!

Spoilers

I watched the movie more than once and thought it was great. I wish they
had Rob Stewart play the part where he helped in solving the murder not
the other way around. He and Jane would also had made a great couple too.
