I watched it tonight, DVR'd off of the SKY1HD (UK) broadcast from a couple of days ago, the channel is using a lot of the scifi channel,rhi type tv movies as late night filler which is reasonable.
As for the movie it was good to see Jason doing his own thing and carried off fairly well, wasn't too demanding on him to be honest but that's beside the point. Erica was drop dead gorgeous and her "look" in the movie worked very well, always slightly "off" if you know what I mean.
Some good humour from Suresh John as the store clerk and Richard Fitzpatrick and loved the bubble wrap:)
Overall an enjoyable low budget effort with a pretty girl, lots of blood, a little nudity and violence and stay through the credits..
I found it to be a funny, yet dark movie. Jason does a great job in the movie. He had the same wit as in jay and silent bob. Yet he was also able to show some acting ability in his struggle with emotions.
The movie overall has limited scenes. His apartment, work, and thats honestly it. And the characters are very limited. In the end nothing is really explained about who was behind turning the girl. And the ending was somewhat disappointing.
Erica looked gorgeous in the film, she looked even better then she did in american pie beta house. And you also get to see nic-nac from beta house in this movie as well.
In the line of vampire movies, it is very witty. But it is not in the relm on the elite ones such as: dusk till dawn, interview with the vampire, fright night, dracula 2000.
I loved it! I was pleasantly surprised when I caught it last week on sky! Probably would have missed it, if not for channel hopping!
Can't wait for it to surface on dvd!
