I remember watching celebrity versions of "Family Feud" when Richard Dawson was the host in the 70's/80's. He spent the time to actually talk with the contestants and let them shine. It seems like the current host is only interested in being "funny".
In the episode I watched last night, I don't think he said anything to Penny or Garry Marshall.
I agree with you. I wanted to know who all the contestants were. They never did introduce any of them. It would have been nice to know how everyone was related.
Well in fairness, they do tell who the people are by writing their relation in a screen caption while each person is talking. The problem with that idea though, is that sometimes the game is a run away and not everybody gets a chance to play.
