Angel of Death offensive to Jews?!

People who think it's a "good job Hitler!", supporting the holocaust missed the point more than people who think Laibach are Nazis!

In my opinion it's a great homage to the tragedy, telling the world that this is something that should never ever be repeated.

Some people just can't understand a song... Like an article in Sweden about Nas - Black President, had a journalist who thought Nas was saying America's not ready to have a black president, and that he didn't want Obama to win. I just don't understand these people.

Yes Slayer and Laibach and Rammstein etc use a lot of fascist symbolism etc, but how dumb do you have to be to think they're saying "kill jews!"?!

The most ridiculous thing about this whole non-controversy is that if one bothers to read the actual lyrics (crazy talk, I know), one can easily see that while it's certainly reveling in the horrors of Mengele's experiments (in the same way that films about the Holocaust do), it's not a song of praise for Mengele. They describe him as an "infamous butcher", a "sadistic surgeon", and as "rancid"; and his actions as "sickening".

Hardly a paean to the man.

To say nothing of the fact that the producer of the Reign In Blood album, Rick Rubin, is Jewish. If he'd believed Slayer were promoting pro-Nazi sentiments with the song, I'm pretty sure their working relationship wouldn't have lasted for the 20+ years that it has.
