Just watched this on YouTube
As an aspiring film composer, I've seen many short films of varying quality and I must say this is one of the better ones. At only two and a half minutes (not including credits) there isn't room for dialogue or anything, so everything is communicated in gesture, expressions, shot composition, editing, etc. This short does a wonderful job of capturing the sadness, the joy, the innocence, the pain, and in the end the hopefulness this old man feels reflecting on a very special memory triggered by a random event.
If the writer or director ever read this, please feel free to send me a private message and I'll send you a link where you can check out some of my music, should you need any for a future project.
