I noticed in the release dates section that it's getting a limited release in the US in September. I'm glad to see that, but I really can't believe it doesn't have more release dates than that yet. I'm also surprised by the lack of topics on here. It's an incredible film that deserves to be seen.

After seeing, and being captivated by, Sugisball years ago and seeing the trailer for this film I will be following the North American release as close as I can. Hope I manage to see it in theatres!
shareI saw a trailer for this film at the Burton Theatre in Detroit about 2 months ago, and I enjoyed it because it was in black & white---the part when a man was walking on ice while somebody skated around him as old song played made me think of old school European '60's experimental flicks. I've seen this trailer twice--there were no credits in English--luckily a website address for the film was in English at the bottom of the screen. I'm gonna find out when it's going to show here in the D---the trailer was definitely intriguing enough for me to watch out for it.
Update: As far as I know, the film never played in the D, and I finally got the DVD of it, so I'll watch that.
Well I'll be damned, I just now checked Amazon to see if there was a US release date for it yet, and apparently TODAY is the release date for region 1 DVD. I'm going to pick it up, I'd really love to have it on Blu-Ray though... such stunning visuals.
So there's an option for you. It doesn't seem to be available from Netflix yet.
Saw it at the London FF last year. Really great. Refreshing.
