I love him! I saw he was going to be in this, and I was wondering if someone could explain his character.... If anyone knows.

Andrew McCarthy plays the boss of a Wall Street firm. It's a good role, offering plenty of comic relief.

I was treated to a private screening of The Good Guy in the middle of post-production (I know the writer/director). The film is great. Possible NYC premiere at the end of April.

he was really good in this film actually. believable character and good acting. and he has aged rather well i think. he was totally one of my faves back in the good old days of St Elmo's Fire, etc...
in this film he plays a high powered boss in a brokerage firm. a womanizer and fast talker. but he does it with class...
