Had to leave early - Help on ending needed

I had to leave half way through the movie as I wasn't feeling well. Last scene I saw was after Daniel had gotten his clothing makeover and was hanging with his co-workers at someone's apartment. Can anyone fill me in on what happens next? I really wanted to see the scenes between Daniel and Beth!

You shouldn't have the ending told to you, if you enjoyed what you saw it'd ruin it, go see it again or wait for it to come out on Blu-ray. Just make sure nobody tells you the ending while you wait. :)

I sadly won't have time so really would love to know what happens. Thank you!

***********SPOILERS***************

After Daniel and Tommy have his whole makeover/transformatoin orddeal, they go to a bar and try to teach Daniel how to talk to girls. Tommy flirts with a girl (to show Daniel) how it's done. The girl, Brooke, stays over at his apartment and Tommy says they do nothing.

later on, Daniel and Beth meet at a buisness party. They talk abotu books and Beth invites him to join her bookclub, but he refuses at first. Tommy comes over and convinces him to joint he book club because it might do im some good to talk to real girls. (The look on Bryan Greenbergs face is priceless =)

Daniel comes over for book night (as a sort of trial run) and they discuss Lolita. He stays after and helps Beth clean up and they talk about his time in the military.

One night, Beth, Daniel, Tommy and Beth's friend Jill go out to dinner and while Daniel, Beth, and Jill talk about where Daniel's favorite place he visited while he was in the military, Tommy makes eyes at a girl from across the room. Daniel does the coin tost to help Beth decide whether she should stay in New York or move to San Fransico. He asks her what she wants it to be, and she says stay, and he tells her that's her answer, putting the cion away.

A while later, Beth calls Daniel and they talk briefly about the book she's reading (The Good Soldier) and Beth asks if Daniel knows annything about Tommy (Daniel saw Tommy out with Christy earlier. Tommy asked him not to tell Beth) Daniel says he doesn't know anything.

While Beth is out with her friends, she sees Christy (Tommy's ex who keeps sending him flowers/calling him/etc.) Beth goes to comfront her but they find out that Tommy has been cheating on both of them.

Meanwhile, Tommy is out with Brooke at a bar. She says she wants to go out because all they do is stay in and have sex (It's one of the major themes in the movie. That you can't trust the narrator because all he does is feed you *beep* One of Brooke's "old friends" an Italian photographer come sto talk to them at the club and she asks if she can leave with him. Tommy becomes upset and storms outside, knocking over a trashcan,b ut recollects himself, choosing instead to call up all the girls he has in his contact list.

Beth and Christy sit at the bar, both heartbroken and angry by the truth. Beth leaves and calls Tommy, saying it's over.

Tommy goes to Daniel's apartment and asks if he and Beth takled earlier. Daniel says they did, and Tommy punches him, shoving him into a wall, assuming that Daniel told Beth abotu Christy. Daniel says he didn't and explains the phoen conversation. Tommy tries laughing it off, and saying they'll forget this on Monday and he'll see him at work. Daniel shakes ihs head, wiping blood off his mouth and quits. Tommy leave. Daniel picks up Tommy's dropped wallet, not bothering to give it back to him.

Tommy, at home, counts out bills waiting for what we can only assume, is a prostitue/escort (maybe just a really slutty girl who likes to get paid for sex XD)

Beth calls Daniel and he comes over. Daniel admits that he saw Daniel and Christy and he knew something. Beth slaps him, but retracks, knowing that it wasn't his place to tell.

Tommy finishes up with his friend, apologizing that he was short on cash but he would get the money for her later. His lady friend gets pissed and threatens him if he doesn't give her all the money. Tommy promises he can get her th emoney and they take a cab over to Christy's apartment, but can't get up because he's no longe on the guest list (Christy lives in apartment 338, mirroring the scene from teh begining of the movie where Tommy says "This is where it all began.")

Then it goes back to the begining of the movie where Tommy goes over to Beth's apartmen. Beth and Daniel wake up (They're lying in bed but it doesn't imply they had sex like the beging of the movie heavily does) She brings him the money and says she feels sorry for him. He returns to the cab and gives his lady friend the money.

The movie's end is very ironic. Tommy is sitting in his apartment looking at pictures of him and Beth on his iPhone and says "This is the end. It's not very pretty" He's lying. Again. The girl that he makes eyes with at the restaurant comes out of hsi bedroom, asking him why he came back into the restaurant when he was obviousl on a date. He says that she was the only one he wanted to be taling to. (This is how he and Beth met/got started) Showing that Tommy has learned nothing and is just going to keep repeating what he does.

Daniel and Beth lie in bed and she says she was thinking about him when he asked her if she wanted to stay or go, even if she didn't know it then. She asks him what the answer really was. He just smiles and she smiles back, telling him she knew.
