Crap Movie, but Good Soundtrack

I think the casting was good (although the Gilmore Girls chick looks like she is 12), but the plot was terrible. Not to mention the exact same plot has been done in a million movies--leading role dates/likes bad person, then finds "good" one--Boomerang, Cruel Intentions, Breakin' All the Rules, While You Were Sleeping, etc, etc...

There were also a few random things. Like, what the heck did that dude do in the military that made him leave a year early? That seems like something pretty major. Why even mention that he was in the military really? Just to connect it back to that book they were reading? Random. Why was that cheater guy so adamant about hiring Daniel in the first place? That wasn't really explained.

I don't know. I liked the dude that played Daniel. I thought the movie would have been better if it had more to do with him getting the girl. They were together in the movie for about one second. They needed more secretive, longing glances at each other---like in Pride and Prejudice. :)

Anyway, it was pretty much crap...although I've seen worse. Great music.

What I walked away from was that we were always supposed to assume that the good guy was Tommy and that Beth was making a mistake getting interested with Daniel. Everything added up to him being the unlikable, dangerous person (shady/closed military file). They didn't need to go into detail and you didn't need to know the reason, you just had to know there was a past and you were supposed to not like Daniel as the one she chooses. Even the book club book (Good Soldier) made it sound like they were setting him up as a bad guy.

However, the tables turn and the good guy becomes bad and bad becomes good.

Have seen worse, but I agree.

There were a lot of loose ends, and it sort of dragged out forever and ever.

This Gilmore girl (never liked that show), really looks 15..I had to check her age:P

Agree with the soundtrack. Like the song where Tommy was being intimate with the escortee.

dissapointing and kind of dull movie. could see the end coming after 10 min and overall it did not deliver. not funny, no tension and the drama did not get to me.

could have been a great movie with this cast, the script had some potential but it all faded away.

see 'powder blue' instead.

Does anybody know where/how I can obtain a copy of the Soundtrack?

The soundtrack WAS amazing.
Plushgun, RaRaRiot... *dies*

Agreed, the soundtrack was way too good to be attached to such a subpar film, lol. Plushgun and Stars are responsible for some of my favorite songs in this entire world...
