The Ending

I was doing other stuff while the movie was on so maybe I missed something obvious here.

I got the impression that Daniel and Tommy were in cahoots and since Tommy was a little more seasoned he would use the whole "I came back in for your number" game and then when things would fall apart Tommy would play the "good guy" roll.

Was that the point of the movie or was Daniel really genuine? He didn't seem that genuine to me for some reason.

Plus the way Tommy is telling the story not all of it seems to be true like when the girl came to sleep over cause she lost her wallet but we see them out later?

So did they live happily ever after or is there another girl next who Daniel swoops in to save because that's him and Tommy's game?
