Yeah, but considering everything that was going on and the level he ascended to with that album, I can see why he'd become suspicious of his followers/entourage. How many times has a musician totally alienated everyone around them because of paranoia or distrust? How can you tell who's your friend and who'll still be your friend if the checks stop coming?
