The last episode of Season 2 was about as final a wrap up finale as I've ever seen

Not true. Jonathan Harvey is keen to write more, but it will be up to the Beeb. The second season had higher ratings than the first. It different terrifically.

Who should we write to? The second series is a bit darker than the first, typical darker middle chapter of any trilogy. I'd love to see how Simon become one of the Beautiful People. I suppose Jonathan Harvey was covering all bases with the ending of series 2 in case there is no third series.

Young Simon is now officially out of the closet. That means if there's a third series there will be all sorts of shouting and screamng from the homophobe lobby.

The second season had lower ratings than the first season, not higher. In fact I'm not sure if any of the episodes even got over 1m.

I asked Jonathan Harvey on facebook, but he just said that they really wanna make one, but that bbc still haven't decided yet as to wether they wanna order a 3rd series. IMO, they HAVE to!!!!

I'm sad to say this people, but Jonathan Harvey confirmed recently on Facebook that Beautiful People is over!! I'm just completely devastated. All i have left to look forward to now about BP is for the soundtrack to arrive to me and to get series 1 and 2 on blu-ray.

You're welcome, i know how irritating it is to be kept haning and waiting to see if it would continue.

I'll deff be doing that myself. Especially after the Blu-Rays have arrived to me.
