Most haunting scene....*Spoiler*

When Lance and Andy are driving back from that restaurant, and Andy recalls what he did all those years ago to the Japanese "friend". Sent chills up and down my spine.

I'm not sure about the movie overall, I might need to give it another watch. But that scene will stick with me for a long, long time.

this great blue world of ours
seems a house of leaves
moments before the wind

I remember that. It gave me the creeps too. I know that in any war a lot of horrible things happen, but that was very strange. Even Lance was a little freaked out buy it.

I also remember a moment when Andy let Lance search through some drawers and closets. He opened a box that appeared to have some rather sadomasochistic porn mags inside. Does anyone else remember that?
LOL. I'm not judging, but .......hum.

I would also like to know what Andy had done for a living.

Yeah, I'm with you both on that one.

I definitely noticed the mags in the box. My feeling is that when people are younger, they are entirely different people than when they are older. Some older guys you'll meet (or gals) will tell you some of the craziest stories that they did when they were younger, and you'd never guess that they were capable of such a thing.

I'm sure there's some pretty evil old people out there, but from my experience, elderly people generally seem to have calmed down quite a bit from their younger years. Those S&M mags were at least 30 years old. I think pretty much everything in that house was at least 30 years old.

Question is, was he a hoarder, or just a man with a whole lot of clutter?
