I have been to magic shows where I just enjoyed the illusion and it is great. There are however other times when you really enjoy playing the guessing game and trying to guess how it is done. You therefore need to know how close you got.
Valentino is providing a product that many people want. Some magicians have to get over the fact that we are in an information age. Good magicians are still very enjoyable so they don't need to worry about it.
I believe he only revealed old magic tricks that were made famous by David Copperfield, he doesn't reveal the newer tricks by David Blaine...
