This is a really stupid idea to put on TV. Hey lets give anyone who may want to plan a terrorist attack a how to book on how Homeland Security Operates. This stuff should be kept undercover.

I'm not really disagreeing with anything you said, but more looking at it another way...Actually I think it's educating Americans themselves as to how and why there are so many travel restrictions. And it's not giving away anything that would jeopardize any Homeland security secrets. They sign off on every episode long before it airs and they only let go what they approve. So hopefully more people will be knowledgeable about how things work getting in and out of our country.

but most of this stuff is pretty common knowledge for terrorists.
they go into this stuff having done research so it's not that big of a deal.

Trust me, they don't go into all the details of what they do. Everything they show, most criminals know about.

It is not really any different than other border crossings, except the enormous overuse of weapons. The reason they have not stopped terrorists is because they terrorists dont need to do anthing. They have set the snowball running and the governmenets all over the world is trying to beat each other on who has invented the most harassing "security measures".
Does anyone remember the late 1970s when planes out of Athens airport were hijacked almost every week. Then there were no "small bottles in a ziploc bag" or no knives or no shoes or other pathetic "securit" ideas.

The group that has affected most people in the world after the world wars is not the "terroriats" with 9/11 etc. It is the US real estate people who has set the whole worlds economy on a downward spiral. What kind of terrorist attack would totally cripple Ford, GM, Chrysler, the country of Iceland and every person who has money saved? It is economic terrorism that came from within the USA, you can have as many black helicopters, special agenst and harassing searches as you want if you dont see what is happening in your own house.

Anyway. I am kind of confused why they have som many different kinds of agencies doing more or less the same thing. Wouldnt it be easier to administrate and organise if there were just one or two. Now there are a whole bunch of them with different three letter acronyms. It is also very confusing with state, local and federal laws mixed up with each other.
