Rip Off - 'The Shawshank Redemption'

I have not seen the movie. But a friend of mine saw it, very impressed told me the story. "The Shawshank Redemption" immidiately came to mind. The story is almost 90% same as the imdb topper.(innocent man held guilty, hope etc.) So Madhur Bhandarkar finally followed the same road as others.
