First Slap Shot movie was best. It was actually an intellectual movie that many people did not get, not even the critics. Basically the first movie showed the effect of Hockey on a small depressed dying town . It was a social commentary on life in a nutshell. Very well done. The 2nd movie was just another stupid movie and the Hanson Brothers were transformed to businessmen.... Now a 3rd one!!! I guess they figure there are enough Slap Shot freaks to make a few bucks. RIP Paul Newman.

we can accuratly describe this as the second film of the "Wrist Shot" series.

I loved the first one! Made the mistake of buying the second (Slap Shot 2) and hate myself for buying this edition.

I didn't and will not EVER see Slap Shot 2 or 3. I learned my lesson with Caddyshack 2.
