Is the old Binion the location where Harrahs is on the strip today?

No, Binions is downtown on the Fremont Experience strip.

Thanks. When I read that Harrah's had purchased it, I was confused. I looked it up though, and saw that it is on Freemont. Wish I had seen the movie before I went to Vegas last month!

You're welcome! :) Binions used to be one of the best places to play downtown, but like most casinos in Vegas, the Corporations have ruined it. The movie version of the inside of Binions looks nothing like the real thing. Fremont is still fun tho. ;)

That is because it was filmed at a casino in Albuquerque.
