Where is show filmed?

I'm curious because I keep seeing actors who do a lot of work in Vancouver.

I know the show is set in LA, but...

can anyone help?

The show is filmed in Bogotá, Colombia.

Wow. I had no idea. Are other TV shows now filmed in Bogota? Is it the new Vancouver?

I don't know if other tv shows are/have been filmed there but I imagine that shows that shoot outside of the US will do so in Canada. The reason that was given for Mental being shot in Colombia is crazy itself but it works for the show.

It's produced by Fox Telecolombia, the Colombian subsidiary of Fox, so it's filmed there. However it is strictly american in nature.
