Estefania and Patricio

I'm watching this in the U.S. and can't believe how Patricio still allows Estefania to call him "Papa" while at the same time rejects the idea of Marichuy being his daughter. Not once have I heard him say that he is partly to blame for Marichuy's lack of education. Had he not listened to his family and left his wife, life for Marichuy would have been different.

Just as a side note, this is the third soap opera I have watched in which Helena Rojo (Cecilia Belarde)loses or gives up her child as an infant. The other two were "El privilegio de amar" and "Mundo de fieras".
