what happened to James Franco in the end of the movie?

wasn't he considered a sacrifice therefore he should have gone to heaven with the rest of them? I feel he got ripped off. I know it's not a documentary but I'm still sad that James Franco didn't make it into heaven and got eaten by the pig Danny McBride.

He died and probably went to Hell. God if they make a sequel I wonder what it's like down there O_o
