'Fear Itself'

Remember that show last summer called "Fear Itself"? A different creepy non-related show each week. There was one called "Community" with Brandon Routh. Sounds exactly like this movie. It was good, but I just saw it last summer. Don't really know if I need to see it again.

I saw that episode and it sucked,.......hard. WALKING DISTANCE is actually polar opposite.

"Commmunity" had this quirky scense of humor about itself, much like American Psycho, with Haron also directed.

"Walking Distance" is VERY dark, VERY twisted, and deals with some pretty taboo subject matter.

While "Community" was more of a dark comedy, almost like a darker version of "The Burbs," WD is more "A Nightmare On Elm Street," meets "Akira" and "From Beyond."

I believe there's a few trailers floating around on the net.

That is exactly the same reaction I had to the plot summary. I will still watch this when it gets released on DVD because I like the cast but I won't be expecting anything too original.

Who doesn't remember good old lame-ass Fear Itself? I had whole summer of enjoyment making fun of that show. Community was one of the more interesting episodes, but hopefully it's not too much like it.

You mean Jack Kelly? Yeah, he was here. But he put an egg in his shoe and beat it.
