Presto: Much Better Than WALL E
I would love a feature-length treatment of "Presto." The battle between the stuffy magician and his rabbit nemesis had more laughs, livelier characters and a more engaging story in five or so minutes than WALL E had in its entire length. Was there any character in WALL E that had anywhere near their personality? Nope. "Presto" reminded me of the best Looney Tunes animation from the 40s and 50s. The slapstick was funny, fast paced and clever. WALL E was nothing but flashy effects, a lot of brightly colored objects darting around. Disney/Pixar failed to give us just two little things in WALL E - a story and characters. Give me "Presto: The Movie" instead!
