Was anyone else reminded of the premise of the video game "Portal" while watching this?

I was reminded of the very very old, long before Portal, premise of pulling a rabbit out of a hat.

Couldn't tell you why, though.

So I'm not sick? Except for this terminal disease?

it was a simple question!

and YES, I did think of the game Portal, probably because I had just been playing it that day.

good observation.

and this is the first Pixar short where I laughed out loud for most of its duration.

Ha-ha. Both design of a ship and robots in WALL-E and this short reminded me of the game.

I was reminded of the Rabbit from "Frosty the Snowman" Still one of the best shorts I have seen in a long time. Brought back memories of Bugs of old.

Don't you know that a lot of Pixarians like the game 'Portal'?
In WALL-E, the settings in the Axiom spaceship are also similar to the game.
There's a companion cube in WALL-E too.

I didn't think of Portal AT ALL and I've played the entire game.
