Did anyone else notice the goof safari guide Jack Tugdon made in one of the movie's early scenes? He says (to Burling, about the deceased Sinas Cavender) "I was your father's one and only safari guide..." But Sinas is Burling's uncle, not father. Of course, knowing Larry Blamire's love of schlock, that was probably intentional.

shareI didn't take it as a goof, but a reference to Burling Famish, Sr. After the other characters' ridiculous reasons for being at the reading of a will they seemingly had no business being at, it sort of makes sense, in a Blamiresque sort of way. The strange and mysterious Jack Tugdon's strange and mysterious end reminded me of that of Night Gallery's "Clean Kills and Other Trophies" in which Col. Archie Dittman suffers a similar fate that saves Dittman's heir from becoming a killer.
