Some really BAD performances in this movie...

Sam Rockwell held this movie together perfectly, with a little bit of an assist from Minnie Driver. But other than that, the rest of the cast fails large. From Hilary Swanks horrible accent to Juliette Lewis' horrible performance, it's a very bad movie. Melissa Leo has a nice cameo, but is leaps and bounds above anybody else in this movie on an acting level.

The producers must have walked the streets of Hollywood one night and just picked everybody at random. We have the guy from Mumford who we haven't heard from in years (Loren Dean). Also, the bitch from all the 90's teen movies is in this one (Clea DuVall), what a great "performance" she delivers. No wonder this movie did *beep* all at the box office, it has washed up written all over it.

In the end, this movie fails because it took $13 million to produce and it only made $6 million in theaters. What counts most is the impact it makes at the box office and then in the viewers minds. This movie fails at both ends.

2/10

Really? Horrible accent? Watch this, she sounds nearly identical to the character she's playing. Perhaps your not familiar with the accent...

2/10 proves your ignorant, and don't know what your talking about.

Whether a movie is profitable or not isn't the point, its whether the movie impacts the people who watch it. I personally thought it was great.
