The more Ken Loach films I try to see, the more I think they need subtitles!
Some of the subs aren't very good. They're machine translated. I found these to be very good though:

Yeah, you could say this about most subtitles, though. I know enough French so that I can at least tell when something's faithfully translated into English, and the harsher "street slang" ne-ver is wholly accurately translated, sadly, even in films that are R-rated or which can take the harsher, more profane, or vulgar, translations.
