Great book

I read the book a few years ago, "The Cure" and immediately thought that it would make a great movie, and sure enough the newly formed CBS Films had already snapped it up. I have no idea what direction the movie will take, but the book was pretty gripping. The audaciousness of a father starting a biotech company to come up with a cure for his children is breathtaking. And it actually happened. From the trailer, I already noticed one scene that wasn't in the book, but I think it'll work well. The pressure of running a biotech startup is bad enough, imagine how bad it is when your daughter's life is literally at stake.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing it!

Remember this is not a documentary. The father did not actually start the company--he became the CEO of a company in Oklahoma started by the doctor Harrison Ford represents. The doctor is renamed in the movie because the relationship does not go well.

Brendan does a fine job as a very concerned and loving father. Keri does a fine job as well.

Surely you can't be serious.
I am serious, and don't call me Shirley
