Saw it last night...
This was a much better movie than the preview alluded it would be, so I was very nicely surprised. The story was a bit slow in parts, but it flowed well and the plot moved along and you never got lost. The story gives an inside look to an aspect of medicine technology and what it takes to get from the theory on paper to the medicine in reality. I was also not very aware of Pompe disease, similar to ALS in children and the lack of treatment.A good movie for the family also.
Harrison Ford's acting however was severely lacking and made me wish that if he is going to give such a half-hearted effort that he just wouldn't bother. I have loved him for a long time and he was ok in this, but he could have been great and wasn't. Brendan Fraser was ok, I hope he starts to make a venture back into serious roles. He was really good in Gods and Monsters and a few others and hasn't had a chance in recent movies to showcase his talent.
I enjoyed the movie overall and thought it was worth a watch.
