bad writing racism or both? Spoilers

In the put a face on the genetic disorder scene the Crowley’s explain why they had two children with the disorder (already with child before the first was diagnosed) but no mention why the Temple’s had a second child years after the first was diagnosed. So is this bad writing racism or both?

"This is the worst kind of discrimination! The kind against me!"

reply

I don't see how that is racism at all, so I'd go for bad writing out of the two. Do you always ask yourself if it's racism, when black people do or say negative things in movies?

reply

It must get exhausting looking for racism around every corner.
What a pitiful way to live ones life.

They probably just wanted a 2nd child and were willing to play odds. Saying this in front of all the scientists would be embarrassing so they left it out.

Racism? What?!?
