Use a real tiger?

Do they use a real tiger in this or CGI or what? If they use a real tiger, I'll pass on the movie for sure. I'm totally against using wild animals for any kind of entertainment purposes because the only way to get them to 'behave' and do what the people want them to do is nearly always through beatings. Virtually no exception and the people who own them will lie through their teeth and they never admit to that. After all, they're profiting off these animals.

So, is the tiger real or not real?

Actually, now that I think about it, I think I'll pass on this movie anyway. Tigers are fast becoming extinct and man is far more of a threat to them than the other way around.

I've already seen the worst movie ever made, so it can only be uphill from there.

yes they use a real tiger but the actors were never actually in the same room with ut when filming – the film was composited and edited to look like the tiger was present on-set at all times. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure I saw a CGI tiger too in a few scenes too.

Thank you for letting me know.

Why pass up on a movie just because it has a tiger in it? Because they are endangered?

It's not like the movie is trying to tell everyone to kill all tigers whenever they see them. It isn't pro-extinction.

I cannot tell you if the tiger was abused but the director assured everyone that the tiger was never in the same scenes as any one else. Lowering the risks for the tiger and the actors/actresses.

I said why in my original post.

Tigers, or any exotic animals, do not belong in captivity, let alone for people to exploit for profit. I don't want to be a participant in that exploitation.
