If the car did work, do you think Kelly would have left her brother ?

Test of will and character. I guess we'll never really know for sure because it is only a movie after all, but it just got me thinking....if the car did start, do you think she would have been selfish to just leave her brother to fend for himself and, most likely, die? ***Honestly, that kid was very uncooperative, and I wouldnt have blamed her for leaving*** dISCUSS..?

He was very uncooperative and annoying but she was probably used to it to some degree and, of course, constantly aware of his autism. She had developed a lot of tolerance for his behavior over the years and she controlled herself very well with him. I think she would have started to take off but would have changed her mind and turned around and went back anyway.

Exactly, she would eventually come back. She's a good sister.
