sorry, can someone please explain to me
1- why did the man did this to the girl and the kid ( trapping them with the tiger ) . ?
2- at the last scence, when he came back, if he already know that the tiger is inside the house, why did he ignore the tiger and keep talking with the girl !?
1) For starters he had gone a little insane, he had already killed his Wife and now was only concerned with the Life Insurance money he would have gotten if both his son and daughter died. So pretty much he was after money, if you noticed the Life Insurance paper that Kelly looked at half-way through the film.
2) He assumed both of them had died by this time, I mean he'd left them in a house with a tiger during a storm one that was clearly a killing monster so I guess he was so shocked to see them alive, not only the fact that Kelly now knew what he'd done and why he'd done it, he was distracted by the choice of what do to with them he couldn't let them go, but didn't know if he should just kill them there and then.
