I remember when I was young, there was a similar video except I think there was a lion or lions in this house. Not sure if there was a hurricane or not.

Oh well, i thought it was a remake too, because it is much similar to "Mamba" (1988), an old italian movie... http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt0095126/combined
