Second time around *spoilers*

I started watching Midori Days for the second time thinking it might not hold up. But I must admit, it still cracks me up. Episodes 5 and 6 are especially hilarious. I'm up to Episode 7 and we're getting towards Ayase's attempts to weasal a date with Seiji. I can't say enough about Kisho Taniyama's voicing Seiji and Mai Nakahara's Midori. They are pitch-perfect in every way. The humor and bittersweet love is balanced magnificently. For me it's one of the best romance/humor animes out there.

Ayase's date with Seiji is just hilarious. That is a scary (but sweet) girl.

If you haven't yet, you'll want to check out the manga too.

Most definately! I have it on my list of Manga's. I'm curious to see the differences. Like with Chobits, (Karin) Chibi Vampire, Love Hina, etc. Have read Chobits and seen the Anime. I like that there are new/different things in the Manga. I haven't seen Love Hina, Karin/Chibi Vampire but have read the Manga's. So far, I'm leaning more towards the Manga, yet I LOVED Chobits the Anime. As long as they're voiced well, I like the adaptations. So many Anime/Manga's, so little time!
